How to Make Burgers at Home with Black Beans and Quinoa Easily

 


Hello again my friends! Today we will be looking at how we can make a very tasty burger patty at your home very easily. This is a vegan burger and you will love it even though you are not a vegan. The beauty of this recipe is that it would take about only half an hour to prepare and serve. Which means you can do this even if you are on a camping trip! Ingredients


Quinoa - 0.25 cups

Yellow Bell pepper - 0.25 cups (cut it well)

Onion - 2 tablespoons (small pieces)

Black beans - 1 can

Garlic cloves - 1

Cumin - 1.5 teaspoons (well ground)

Bread crumbs - 0.5 cup

Hot pepper sauce 

Eggs - 1

Olive oil

Water

salt


How to prepare it


First of all, you have to wash the black beans and drain them to completely remove the water. Then you can keep it aside and boil the quinoa in 1.5 cups of water. After quinoa has boiled, you can reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan and keep it to simmer for about 20 minutes.


While the quinoa is simmering, grind the black beans to a paste. Then after 2 minutes, the quinoa is ready and you can add the onion, 1.5 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper sauce, garlic, eggs, bell pepper, and cumin into the quinoa and mix it very well.


Then you can make the burger patties using this mixture according to your size preference. After making the patties you can heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil and cook both sides of the burger patties.
